Services during Natural Calamities
In 1997, 42 community centres were constructed as Cyclone relief activity, in Konaseema, and free medical services were provided. Gujarat Earth quake affected village Vallabhapur was adopted and a colony of 86 houses was built with all facilities. Flood and cyclone relief operations were conducted in Andhra Pradesh along with emergency services. Free boats and engines were provided to fishermen and 50 Houses are constructed and given to those people in Tsunami hit village Poompuhar in Tamilnadu. Many such projects are in progress in serving the sufferers.

Vikasatarangini (VT)
A voluntary service wing of Swamiji’s mission with about 75,000 volunteers in the past 3 years :-

• 645 General Health Camps conducted 1,75,000 people got benefit.
• 425 Eye Camps conducted, about 1,25,000 people benefitted.
• 490 Dental Camps conducted, above 85,000 people benefitted.
• 789 Veterinary Camps conducted, treatment to > 2 lakh cattle.
• 1260 Health Education Camps directly educating >30 lakh rural people.
• Many programmes for tree planting, >5 lakh tree plantings are a few of the services.

Currently many such services are ‘on’ in different areas.

The two messages, “Serve all beings as service to God” and “Worship your own - Respect All” are the guiding principles
driving VT volunteers. This message was spread to more than 60million people all over world.

Thirunarayana Perumal Aradhana Samithi, Melkote - A renowned temple of Karnataka State, in Melkote, is where
Lord Thirunarayana dwells. Every year during Phalguna month a special event called ‘Vairamudi Seva’ will be conducted during which a dazzling jewel-studded crown will be adorned to Lord. Lakhs of people participate in this world famous event though it is a remote place.

Acharya Ramanuja of 1017 AD allowed down trodden people into the temple here only, to prove that all are equal before God. As he brought out the right essence of Vedic knowledge by his invaluable commentaries, this place is worshipped as ‘JNA:NA MANDAPA’ a ‘Light House’ by the elite. Free food to pilgrims is served here. MelkoteThirunarayana Perumal Aradhana Samithi, was started by Late HH Pedda Jeeyar Swamy in 1977 to serve Lord and the devotees. Enhancing its services systematically, under the guidance of HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji a local committee is volunteering necessary services to Lord and also to pilgrims.
