Jeeyar Educational Trust Vedic University concluded its annual Vedic exams on 29th July, 2016. The three day exams which started on 27th July were attended by Vedic students from various states. A total of students attended the exam. HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji honored the successful students with certificates, shawl and money.
The exams began on 27th July with a vedic prayer by HH Sri Swamiji and the assembled vedic students. Speaking on this occasion, Sri Swamiji gave a wonderful and inspiring message inspiring the students for choosing this path withstanding the temptations of the materialistic world.
” Chanting Vedas with great respect, commitment and care without any faults in the intonations and pronunciation make you all jangama veda svarupas meaning mobile vedic forms. You students who learn and chant the Vedas continuously bring positive energies in the environment around you. The places get purified.
Vedas are the form of God. We cannot comprehend God but you are the blessed who have that Lord in the form of Vedas in your manas. Many claim to do social service and many might say that all you do is sit in one place and that is not serving the society. But they are wrong!
You are doing invaluable service to the society and the universe. The sound waves emitted from the chanting of the Vedas from your body travel and purify not only the people around you but all living and non-living things. The trees, plants, animals, creatures, water, soil, air everything gets purified with the Vedic chants. Others might do service but it is only on the superficial level where as the service done by you affects the whole universe. Just like a pebble when dropped in the middle of the lake creates ripples till the end of the shore, similarly the vedic sounds produced by you will travel everywhere.So you don’ t
need to go here and there to do service. All you need to do is to sit in one place and chant the manthras.”
