Inspired by the qualities of Sri Rama Chandra as elaborated by Swamiji, thousands of devotees and followers donated more than 16 crores of rupees for the Ayodhya Rama Mandir construction. As part of the country-wide donation drive for Ayodhya Sri Rama Mandir, RSS Chief Secretary Bhaiyyaji Joshi visited HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji at JIVA campus on the 22nd of Jan 2021.
Close to 16cr were donated by the generous donor followers of HH Swamiji. Later Bhaiyyaji also visited the epic monumental center, the Statue of Equality that encompasses Vedic wisdom in all glory.
For decades of years, HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji’s has been offering His daily prayers to Sri Rama Chandra. Swamiji chanted Sri Valmiki Ramayanam hundreds of times. Swamiji delivered in-depth discourses on Sri Rama Chandra’s divine history to lakhs of people every year. One of the greatest scholars, T.P. Ramachandracharya from Simhachalam said, ‘Meditating on Sri Rama Chandra made Swamiji a Rama of our times!’
HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji recollected how His acharya, Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji constructed more than 108 Sri Rama sthupas across the nation by involving everyone through a one-rupee donation and offering of a sanctified one brick towards its construction. These divine pillars are constructed to seek apologies on behalf of a judge who dishonored Ramayanam in those days! Such is the devotion towards Sri Rama in all our scholarly elders.
