Since the day the Lord manifested at the sacred Divya Saketham, the recitation of the holy Sri Ramayanam has been continuing uninterrupted every single day.

Every month, from Punarvasu to Punarvasu, the complete recitation of the Sri Ramayanam is performed, followed by the celebration of Sri Rama Pattabhishekam.

So far, the sacred Sri Ramayanam Parayanam has been completed 216 times.

Another special significance is that Bhagavan Sri Rama, who is majestically seated as the embodiment of equality and compassion, has a divine stature of 216 feet.
