Badari is one of the holiest spiritual destinations on Earth, radiating divine vibrations from the majestic Himalayas at an altitude of 10,250 feet. It is revered as the sacred place where the Great Narayana Mantra was revealed to the world. According to our Puranas, Badarinath is the divine abode where Lord Narayana, in the form of the sacred mountains, performs eternal penance for the peace and welfare of the world.
Situated on the sacred Nara Mountain, our Ashtakshari Kshethram has been welcoming pilgrims with shelter, prasadam, and spiritual care for decades. The divine temple of Lord Badarinath remains open for only six months during summer and closes during the harsh Himalayan winter, making every pilgrimage to this holy kshetram deeply sacred and spiritually significant.
This blessed Ashtakshari Kshethram was established in the 1950s by HH Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji as a divine service to devotees visiting Badari. In 1952, HH Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji performed the sacred Narayana Ashtakshari Koti Havana Maha Krathu at this holy place. Since then, Annadanam and service to sadhus and pilgrims have continued uninterrupted during every pilgrimage season.
Today, under the divine guidance and blessings of HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji, Badri Asram Ashtakshari Kshetram continues this timeless tradition of devotion, Vedic culture, compassion, and selfless service.

The Asram serves as a spiritual refuge for sadhus, devotees, and seekers who visit the Kshetram for darshan, spiritual learning, seva, and devotional participation. Rooted in the values of hospitality and service, the Asram strives to provide a peaceful and spiritually uplifting environment for all pilgrims.
One of the most sacred services at the Asram is Tadiyaradhana Seva — the offering of prasadam and meals to devotees, pilgrims, and sadhus. In our tradition, Annadanam is regarded as one of the highest forms of seva and a direct service to the Divine. Through this seva, nutritious meals and prasadam are lovingly served to visiting devotees throughout the pilgrimage season.
To continue serving pilgrims better, the Asram is also undertaking renovation and infrastructure development activities to improve accommodation facilities, dining areas, and essential amenities for devotees and sadhus staying at the Kshetram.
Your contribution towards Badri Asram Seva supports:
Every offering made towards this sacred initiative helps sustain the divine mission of HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji — serving society through devotion, compassion, and selfless service.
Support this noble cause with your seva and become part of the Asram’s continued journey in serving devotees and preserving the timeless values of Sanatana Dharma.
