From 8th September 2025, the sacred period of Pitrupaksha begins. This fortnight of Bhadrapada Bahula Paksham is an auspicious time to honor and express gratitude to our ancestors.

It is considered highly meritorious to perform Annadanam (food donation) and Shraddham on the tithi (lunar day) corresponding to the day on which one’s elders attained the divine abode.
