HH Chinnajeeyar Swamiji’s Baradinath Tour!
In the foothills of Himalaya and the banks of river Ganga, Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swami reaches Hrushikesh Jeeyar Mutt on the 8th of September 2017. Greeted and honoured by several sadhus, Sri Swamiji asked everyone for their well-being. HH carried on conversations with them on ways to spread the powerful message of Bhagavad Ramanuja! As always, devotees poured in to pay respects to Swamiji.
Sri Sitha Rama and Lakshmana perumal as being carried by Hanuman is a beautiful mandir in Jeeyar Mutt. Swamiji paid his respects to Rama parivar in the sannidhi there.
Some devotees of Sri Dayanand Saraswati approached Swamiji with some questions on Dvaitha, Advaitha and Visishta Advaitha. Swamiji explained the differences and they were quite thrilled and extremely happy to have the opportunity to hear it from HH.

Badarinath welcomes Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swami and hundreds of devotees as they reach the pious place on the evening of 10th September ! Several great events planned on this Ashtakshari Kshethram such as Bhagavad Ramanuja aaradhana, Samasrayanam, Vyasa guha sandarshanam, annadanam, discourses and more ! Swami’s mission to remove ignorance and inculcate in people right ways to think and act are working wonders during this Yatra ! Glory and peace to everyone !

Hundreds of devotees tagged along with Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji in Badarinath. Swamiji as always, ever cheerful and extremely active in various activities wiped away the tiredness from all the devotees. Enthused devotees enjoyed the grace of HH through out the day in the midst of natural air, crystal clear water, nice weather and heart warming beauty of the hills! Many devotees spoke out saying ‘They are extremely thrilled to witness these natural wonders along with the most amazing divine wonder, Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swami!’
A quick view into what is going on the hills of Badarinath…
- 10th evening – Lakshmi Narayana Homam began with ankuraropana (sowing of seeds)!
- 11th early morning – Arani madhanam (Agni prathishta) for the Lakshmi Narayana Yagnam
- 11th late morning – HH Visited Vyasa guha, the place where Vyasa dictated many scriptures to Ganapati, Visited Bheem pul, Saraswati river along with all devotees
- 11th afternoon – HH served afternoon meals to all devotees
- 11th evening – Darsan of Badari perumal in temple along with all devotees followed by pu:rna:huthi of the Yagnam

Above all, under the umbrella of wise and compassionate words of Sri Swamiji, Little Krushna appeared at Ashtakshari Kshethram in Badarinath. Swamiji’s presence lighted up the whole atmosphere with joy and divinity in everyone. As Swamiji explained avathara rahasyam, audience felt the bliss of the birth of the para thatvam (ultimate qualified entity), Sri Krushna!
Esteemed Jeeyar, Sri Ramachandrachari and distinguished scholar, Sri Krishnamacharya also shared their experience on the event. They talked about great secrets hidden in Krushna’s leelas as a child and how many alwars experienced the richness of Krushna thatvam!
Birth prayer (thaniyan) of Sri Krushna, the Krushnastakam and the Panchayudha Sthothram were chanted to meditate on the glory of Lord!
Swamiji in person served prasdam to about 500 pandas (the priests in Badarinath)
Swami distributed butter to the devotees, signifying the softness of heart that cannot wait to alleviate anyone in suffering…!

PaancharaatraAagama scriptures say the following as Janmaslokam of Sri Krushna:
సింహరాసే అతసీపక్షే రొహిణ్యాం అష్టమీతిథౌ |
చరమార్థ ప్రదాతారం కృష్ణం వందేజగద్గురుం ||
After the Sun enters into simharasi, during the Krushnapaksham, choose the day of Ashtami which meets the star of Rohini. By the time of Sun rise, the star should still prevail.This is defined to be the time of the birth of Sri Krushna, and is celebrated as Sri Jayanthi!
Some people celebrate it during the month of ‘Sravana’ on the ‘Bahula Ashtami’ day. However, the time of birth of Sri Krushna carried with it many elements and therefore we match all the elements such as star, day, paksham, month to find the exact time for the celebration!
As we celebrate the birth of Krushna, we celebrate the birth of real joy and love within our hearts because he is the only treasure who is capable of imparting in you a state of permanent bliss. He removes the darkness of ignorance through his radiating wisdom.
The form of Vishnu as Krushna has captivated hearts of millions of people. His only mantra –
‘సర్వధర్మాన్ పరిత్యజ్యమాం ఏకం శరణం వ్రజ … అహంత్వా సర్వపాపేభ్యో మోక్ష ఇష్యామి మాశుచ:’
‘Leave the results of all your work to me, place the attachment with any object into rest with me. I will wipe the effect of all the sins that you may have gathered so far…!’ He gives you an ultimate abode of ‘moksham’. He waits for your heart to be ready for him, a heart such as that of Vidura’s who gets totally immersed into the perfect blend of ‘Supremacy’ and ‘Accessibility’ of Sri Krushna and without his knowledge offers him the peel of banana instead of the fruit! Krushna happily accepted the offering as he also was extremely immersed into the devotion (love) of Vidura towards him.
How hard is it love someone?! Especially, when that someone is in fact the true saviour and the true owner of all that exists, when that someone is the epitome of love! Let us delve into Krushnathatvam and enjoy the bliss! Happy Sri KrushnaJayanthi

HH Sri Tridandi Srimannaryana Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swami has been spreading the word of Bhagavad Ramanuja for years as part of the millennium birth year celebrations (1017-2017).
Around 1000 years ago, several philosophers began to preach that whatever we see or experience is unreal. However, Bhagavad Ramanuja studied the Vedic scriptures, comprehensively experienced the verses and scripts of the vast literature. He then reinstalled the true essence of Vedam indicating that ‘all that we see is real and is part of the pathway to attain a blissful state’. He propounded equality of everyone in the eyes of God. He shared the most powerful, Ashtakshari mantra so that everyone can benefit out of it. Today, we are all under the umbrella of protection through prayer and the right values because of such great reformer, Sri Bhagavad Ramanuja.
That is why, HH Sri Swamiji is going around the world to spread the celebration of Ramanuja’s 1000th birth year. Swamiji’s actions w.r.t spreading the word of Ramanuja speak volumes about the greatness of Ramanuja’s contribution towards mankind in the areas of spiritual enlightenment and social responsibility.
