Today is the festival of Chandonothsavam of Simhachalam Lakshmi Varaha Narasimhaswami.  It happens to be Akshaya Thruthiya and Parasurama Jayanthi too.   This is the only day Lord graces the world with real appearance  ‘nijarupa darsanam’ for 24 hours in Simhachalam
