Holy Bath to Sridevi and Recitation of Nachiar Tirumoli:
On Fridays when the Lord had Tirumanjanam, Sridevi adorning His chest had to be removed for her bath. Since she cannot bear even an instant’s separation from her beloved Lord Ramanuja ordained that Nachiar Tirumoli, a poem of 143 sublime verses sung by Sri Andal (Goda Lakshmi) who was an incarnation of both Sridevi and Bhudevi should be recited on that occasion to mitigate the pangs of separation.
