1000 years ago...... Lord Srinivasa on Seven Hills was going through hard times.... Unnoticed, Unidentified, Having no caretakers, No proper worship, suspecting His own form whether He was a male or a Female!! It was mid 11th century....... The ruler of the place, King Yadava decided to resolve all the discrepancies inviting the world of scholars of the day. One among them was Acharya Ramanuja Swamy Open discussions went on and on. It was only Sri Ramanujacharya who was able to establish the identity of the Lord as Sri Maha Vishnu with authentic and validated proof from scriptures and practices After everyone agreed with Him, Ramanujacharya re-established day-to-day worship of the Lord and customs to be observed during casual and annual ceremonies

Varaha Purana, 58th Adhyaya
God appeared in the form of Lord Srinivasa during the entire Kaliyuga.
The effulgent, omnipresent, omniscient Lord Srimannarayana is the supporter of all beings. He took innumerable incarnations on this earth to put us on the right path.
In Kaliyuga, the compassionate Lord appeared in deity form on the seven hills as Lord Venkateswara – to be accessible to all – the privileged and the less fortunate to remove our weaknesses, burn our sins and make us strong and better human beings to live for higher purposes.
11 out of 18 Puranas elaborated the history of Lord Venkateswara. A total of 157 adhyayas are dedicated to Lord Venkateswara. The number of slokas eulogizing Lord Venkateswara are approximately 10,771.
“Oh man surrender to the Lord Srinivasa who resides on the beautiful magnificent seven hills standing tall kissing the skies” sang the saint Nammalvar.
Lord also reciprocated in His promise “I will protect thee from all sins who surrender to me” (18.66 Bhagawad Githa). His grace is still evidently seen right from King Thondaman, potter Bhimanna, Ananthalvan etc.,
