Today, HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji and devotees went to Vijaya Kiladri and performed “Dwara Puja” – special pujas for the installation of doors in the temples. Manthras were chanted, flowers and turmeric rice were offered and harathi was performed. The recent rains have washed out the kuccha roads. In view of safety of the pilgrims, the scheduled consecration of temples has been moved Magha masam.
