I would like to know the proper pronounciation for Venkatesa in the Venkatesa Suprabhatam. I am informed that according to some Aacharyas, one should say Vengada and not Venkata. Is this the tradition amoung some schools? If so, what is the Ta:tparyam? Why does the Sanskrit version say”Venkata”. What does the word mean? Would Swami be able to help with this issue?
