Srikakulam Rajam Vikasa Taranigini has raised to the clarion call of the Prime Minister Mr. Modi and has been conducting Swachh Bharath program since past 2 months. Every week, a street or a ward is adopted. Importance of cleanliness and hygiene is explained to the residents. Roads are cleaned and trash cans, recycle bins are installed. Small trash cans are also distributed for free to the residents. Rajam – a small mandal is now marching towards becoming a clean and model village with the help of Vikasa Tarangini volunteers.
