Various activities took place here during dhanurmasam both at Srirangadhamam and Sri Tulasiramanujakutam.
As a part of Mukkoti Ekadasi celebrations dwaradarsanam was attended by devotees at both the places. Sri Devanatha Jeeyar swamiji attended the program. Teppotsavam and deepalankarana seva were performed. Nadipuja was done to Godavari river at Gowthami ghat. Kolatams,bhajans,classical dance performances were performed. With the mangalasasanams of Sri Ahobalaramanuja Jeeyar swamiji new deepalankarana mandapam was constructed by Er.Ramanujam garu and the entire project was sponsored by Sreeman Seekakulapu Sitaramanjaneyulu garu and Tayarugaru.
Vishesha pasurams were conducted with great enthusiasm by devotees.
With the mangalasasanams of HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji competitions were conducted to school children all throughout the four weeks of Dhanurmasam on every Saturday at Sri Tulasi Ramanujakutam under the supervision of Sreeman Sitaramacharyulu. Children participated in good numbers. Prizes were given to winners by our Acharya Chinnajeeyar Swamiji on 19th January. Prizes were sponsored by Er.M.V.V.Ramanujam and Smt. Padmavathiramanujam.
The real joy of Dhanurmasam was enjoyed by Rajamahendri on 18th when our Acharya came to Sri Tulasiramanujakutam on 18th January. Teertha goshti was conducted in which devotees participated in large numbers. Sri Swamiji blessed Prajna children and gave prizes to the winners. Swamiji also blessed the Prajna team of teachers and this gave a boost.
Later Swamiji visited central jail and distributed 70 sewing machines to the families of the prisoners. Arrangements were also being made to admit children on poor prisoners in the nearby residential schools. Swamiji later visited Srirangadhamam and participated in the evening goshti.
