Jai Srimannarayana..!

Today, the 1st of May, in the Jeeyar Satha:bdi Celebrations, after the daily Perumal’s a:ra:dhana, theertha go:shti was done in the ya:gasa:la. HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji gave his permission to the ruthwiks to continue the ya:gasa:la ka:ryakramam. The ruthwiks started Ashta:kshari Manthra Ho:mam in the nine kunda:s under the guidance of Sri Madhusudanacharya. Then HH Swamiji along with Ahobila Jeeyar Swamiji and Vrathadhara Jeeyar Swamiji went to the Ishti ya:gasa:la and initiated the Vaibhave:shti program. Then the ruthwiks under guidance of Sri Srinivasacharya Swamy started offering oblations chanting the hymns. HH Swamiji gave a brief explanation on the Vaibhave:shti.

It is usual to have health problems or family disturbances in life. Some problems may get solved but many do create turmoil and unhappiness. The reason behind it might be that

the concerned person may not have fulfilled the responsibility of a son towards his parents. The minimum duty of a son is to satisfy his parents who are no more in this world by offering ‘tharpan’ams’ to them. Bhagavad Gi:tha also ordains the same. Then how to annihilate those drawbacks of a person? Lord recommended to Brahma a process to overcome the lapses. It is ‘Vaibhave:shti’. Then the dead would be satisfied and bless their ancestors to flourish with prosperity.

Later Go:pu:ja was done by HH and devotees. The original breeds of cows of 26 varieties are brought from all over India. Earlier there were 70 varieties of cows. HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji explained that 33 crores of devatha:s reside in different parts of a cow. The Vedics should protect cows for the prosperity of the community and nation.

Today ‘Sa:mu:hika Upanayanams’ are conducted and a large number of devotees had their thread ceremonies done under the direct supervision of HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji, Ahobila Jeeyar Swamy and Vrathadhara Jeeyar Swamy.

The photo exhibition of Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamy is in progress in one big stall. The onlookers were astonished seeing the pace at which Pedda Jeeyar Swamy conducted the programs bringing momentum in all corners of the country. Sri Avatharamgaru, Sri A. Ramakrishnagaru and Mrs. Lakshmi with their team worked hard for over one year to make it possible.

In the pu:ja ka:ryakramam, thousands participated in the collective ‘Go:da Ashto:tthara Pu:ja’. HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji released a second pamphlet on the importance of cows titled, ‘Nandini’. He advised the devotees to pay attention to the presented facts and try to do what all they can.

HH Swamiji also enlightened the devotees on the need to know about Go:da:devi. He said that we are consecrating Sri Kodandarama Temple. The idols have been sculpted by us and installed by us in the temple. Who is he? He is the archa form of Lord whom we are going to worship. Goda also known as ‘a:muktha ma:lyada’ believed fully in the archa murthi and decided to have him alone as her savior. She performed the ‘vratham’ that the go:pikas did earlier. What was the result? She could attain what she aspired for because of her belief in HIM. We manufacture a wire. We cover it. We enable the electricity pass through it. Then….It has all the power. It gives us light, wind or water depending on the work we use it for. The wire which we prepared gives us all the benefits. It is not under our control. In the same manner ‘archa:mu:rthi’ is also all powerful. There is every possibility of a scope to attain him. He is present there in the energy form (the:jo:swaru:pa).

Go:da taught us one thing. She believed in helping out the people to come out of their problems by giving them what they wanted and thus she brought a sea change in their approach and thinking.

So we offer our obeisance at her lotus feet and do puja to her. HH Swamiji also threw light on the fact that worship does not mean just changing the place of flowers or water. It is the intention in us that is important. Or else it loses its significance. So we need the anushta:nam (practice) coupled with the inner laying jna:nam. Then He made them repeat the 108 names of Go:da and do pu:ja. All were excited and thrilled doing the pu:ja in their hearts also.

The new entrants (vatuvulu) into the vedic set up are given a jna:na janma (sama:srayan’am) by initiating them with the Manthra Ra:jam.

In the temple, in the idols’ purification process, the ‘Bimba, Yanthra Stha:pana’ is done by the rithwiks under the guidance of HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji.

Afternoon the audience were given a message by Phalahara Swamy in Hindi. They were given a nice vocal recital of bhajans by Kumari Visishta.

In the evening we had the VSN collective parayan led by Ahobila Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamiji. HH Swamiji felicitated some of the staunch known to Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji and they shared their experiences with the audience. It was amazing to learn about Pedda Swamy more and more.
We know the story of how Hanuma could bring the stones thrown into the sea together, bind them up and make a bridge across the sea using ‘Rama Na:ma’. Pedda Jeeyar Swamy used the Rama na:ma and brought a tremendous basic change even in the hearts of prisoners. He made them write Rama na:ma while chanting the name and the roots of devotion had softened their hearts. Thus his way of doing things, his ‘sankalpa balam’, his love and commitment to lead the people in the right path ….everything about Him is so stunning. Let us pay our obeisance at his lotus feet.
In the evening after the lecture of HH Swamiji, there was a Bharathana:tyam recital by Kum. K. MohiniSudha. HH Swamiji along with Ahobila Jeeyar Swamiji and Vratadhara Jeeyar Swamiji attended the pu:rn’a:huthi ka:ryakramam and did mangala:sa:sanam to Lord.

After the prasa:da go:shti we said ‘Palla:ndu Palla:ndu’ to our Swamiji who had been relentlessly working hard for our evolution walking in His A:cha:rya’s foot steps.
