HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji visited the clay workshop where the craftsmen were working on the Clay models of HH Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji and Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji along with the models of Namma:lwar, Ra:manuja:cha:rya and Manava:la Maha:muni.

HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji suggested few changes to Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji’s Clay Model to make it a look-alike model of Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji.

The main craftsman, from Mayapur (Bengal), expressed his heartfelt gratitude for having him work on the divine models of our previous A:lwars and A:cha:rya:s. The Craftsman also expressed how HH eyes were remarkably beautiful and compared to that of a splendid and exquisite lotus flower petals. Also, opinioned that HH eyes looked like that of a much-celebrated personality from Bengal, Chaitanya Maha:prabhu, who is considered as a hidden incarnation of Krishna by the local Bengal people and followers of Gaudi:ya Mutt.

We have come across innumerable academic, spiritual and saintly people talking about the famous Indian Holy Vedic Scriptures, such as – “Bhagavad Gi:ta”. But, very rarely, almost close to being non-existing, do we come across a personality like HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji, who doesn’t just cheaply talks about any scripture, instead, preaches by personally practicing the virtues outlined in the Vedic Scriptures in every fold of daily life.

The below incident would reflect why this is so.

After inspecting the progress of temple work, HH Swamiji walks out of temple and Dr. Rameshwar Rao informs HH Swamiji about his plans on bringing the construction workers right away to complete the pending work of the hostel building to accommodate the people that would attend the Jeeyar Centenary Festival.

While doing so, Dr. Rao informs HH Swamiji on how he instructed someone about getting rid of the honey beehive in the southwest corner of the Hostel building by arranging for a pit fire underneath it.

Immediately, Nambi Venu Swami, “The Va:sthu Guru”, agrees with Dr. Rao and explains to his HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji how the beehive formation on the southwest corner of a building is inauspicious according to Va:sthu Sastra.

But, HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji immediately asks Dr. Rao not to disturb the beehive, and continue working in the rest of the hostel building, thus expressing his love and concern even for lower forms of life like the insects.

We all must have read Bhagavad Gi:ta several times, but not many of us hold the message of the same in our hearts and act accordingly. As it’s said in Gita, “Panditha:h Samadarsinaha (5.18)”, the wise, by virtue of true knowledge, see a bra:hman’a, a cow, an elephant, a dog and a dog-eater with equal vision.

This is where the common people differ from a self-realized soul and a true devotee of the Lord like HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji. No wonder why the Vedic scriptures proclaim – “Jangama Sri Vima:nani Hrudaya:ni Mani:shina:m”
“A realized, true devotee of the Lord is a breathing, walking and talking temple/scripture“.
It is said so because, one is not sure as in when the deity form of the lord will bestow an individual the required mercy, but a realized soul will immediately bestow all the good fortune and required knowledge for enlightenment right away.

Lucky are those souls who take refuge of such a realized soul like our A:cha:rya, HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji, who can dispel the deepest dense darkness of Avidya (Ignorance) accumulated in our hearts by his mere presence.

The Sanctum Sanctorum of the temple’s 3rd floor was engineered to take a weight up to only 3 tons.

According to the original plan, the weight of the Vaikunt’a Peruma:ls deities along with their Ku:rma A:sana (Tortoise Seat) was supposed to be less than 1.5 tons. But, the Sthapathi informed HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji that the total weight of the deities was summing up to 4.5 tons.

Therefore, to cut down the weight, HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji suggested the Sthapathi to replace the Solid Pancha Lo:ha Mandapa’s (seat composing of five metals), each weighing a little over a ton, with a thin metal sheet instead. Thereby, not compromising on the design of deities seat as described in the A:gama Sa:stra. With this change the total weight of the deities is now approximating to 2 tons, that’s well within the anticipated range.
