Grandhi Mallikarjun Rao ji, Founder of GMR Group of companies and GMRIT invited Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swami and requested HH to address the students and faculty at GMRIT, Rajam, Srikakulam.
Here’s a brief excerpt of Swamiji’s message. Hope all our dear readers can share this message with their children going to high schools and colleges!
What is the goal of life? Now a days, quite a few students response to this question is: ‘I don’t know, I will have to figure it out, I don’t know what I want to do yet.’
When you are in this body, it means that your journey has already started. If you do not know your destination and you started travelling, it’s not a good sign and shows that you need help!
Goal of life is to share what you have with others in need (it can be wisdom, wealth and any other possessions)! In order to share, start living right so that you can share what you earn and learn! Be thankful for this life, because Life is an opportunity! It is neither a problem to be solved, nor a challenge to be won!
For example: Let’s look at how you can perceive an examination – 
When you think of an examination to be a problem, fear crops in! When fear is filled within you, memory doesn’t work as it should. You will not be able to recollect what you have read earlier.
When you think of an examination to be a challenge, there is no fear. But, there is an urge to win! This will develop enmity with fellow classmates. You will make them your enemies than companions, you might fall prey for anger and other unwanted emotions!
The best way to approach your examination is to see it as an opportunity. A chance for you to exhibit your understanding on the subject. This allows creativity and makes room for deeper learning. There is no room for peer pressure, because you are doing this for yourself.

Swamiji also talked about how GMR has developed this ‘Adversity Quotient’ to deal with several turbulences in life! Swamiji appreciated GMRs efforts in utilising his life as an opportunity to share good moral life style through several endeavours he has taken up over decades!
Swamiji also addressed everyone that we all (be it a Christian, Muslim, Vaishnavaite, Saivate, Jewish and all..) have Single Source of food – the Mother Earth. And hence, we are all ONE family. This message of Equality in the eyes of God was shared by Bhagavad Ramanuja 1000 years ago!
Swamiji welcomed everyone to take part in thanking Bhagavad Ramanuja for such a powerful message during the Inauguration event to be held during the early part of 2019!
