Everyone likes to have a healthy meal that is also tasty. Such a meal requires close attention to including the right ingredients and excluding unnecessary ingredients. The physical, mental, intellectual, and spiritual state of a person depends on what kind of experiences one accumulates through the input senses such as mouth, eyes, ears, skin. What we eat therefore impacts our behavior. .

What kind of meal did Lord Krishna have?

Lord Krushna is very keen on meals that are filled with ruchi (delicious) and suchi (hygienic/clean).

There was an instance when Krishna surprised Vidura knocking at his doorstep. On the same day, Duryodhana kept waiting at his home for Krishna. Krishna accepted banana peel as food from Vidura. He refused to go to Dhuryodhana’s home where sumptuous meal was specially prepared for Him.

The ruchi that Krishna looks for is of utmost love for Him. The suchi that Krishna looks for is flawless belief in Him.

The exemplary child devotee, Prahlada’s belief in the existence of the omnipresence of Lord is so strong that he did not try to find out if it was true or false. He unquestionably believed his acharya (sage Narada). Hiranyakasipa did not believe it. And therefore, God took the necessary form to curtail Hiranyakasipa’s atrocious attitude towards Prahlada and all rushis

– Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swami Kalyanotsavam

Sriman Prabhakar Rao Ji invited Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji for Lakshmi Narasimha Swami Kalyanotsavam. He has been actively serving the educational needs of tribal kids in remote areas, Allampalli and Beersaipet under the guidance of Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji for close to a decade. He administers the schools with the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and staff for the holistic upbringing of the children.

If it was not for these schools, these children would be holding guns, today they are holding pens! Swamiji appreciated the volunteerism and humble attitude of Prabhakar Ji.
