2014 Feb 10: Uppuguda, Hyd – In the divine presence & guidance of HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji, Sri Vishnu Sahasranama Virat Parayana was held at Uppuguda Grounds in Hyderabad, India on account of the auspicious Bheeshma Ekadasi Day when the glorious Vishnu Sahasranama Sthothram was revealed to the world in Dvapara Yuga directly in the presence of Lord Krishna.
After chanting every 100 divine names of The Lord, dhu:pa deepa naivedyam and mangalam were performed to The Lord. HH Sri Swamiji explained the many significances and powers of Sri Vishnu Sahasranama Sthothram.
Hundreds of thousands of devotees participated in the collective chanting, initiated by HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji.
HH Sri Devanatha Jeeyar Swamiji and HH Sri Vrathadhara Jeeyar Swamiji also graced the occassion and participated in the divine program.
