Our culture has always taught everyone to respect all faiths and coexist peacefully. ‘Worship your own faith, respect all others’ is an important guiding principle that keeps everyone happily together despite differences in practices. I worship Rama and respect others, and you can do the vice-versa. One need not demean other faith for any reason whatsoever. One person’s faith must not stop him/her from being united with people of other faiths because…

… the world is one family

Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam

Ancient day elders walked this path. Today, PM Sri Narendra Modi ji is also following the same path. We all belong to Bharath (India) and must work together, share pains and joys, move forward by putting the nation and its glory first. When each nation can also think and act accordingly, humanity on the Earth can flourish in peace.

What is the role of faith or God in standing together as One?

In a country with varied backgrounds and faiths, we all need a common ground to stay united and follow certain rules to move ahead on all fronts.

There are two ways a rule can be implemented. The first path defines a certain process to follow and implements punishments for violation. The second path sanctifies the hearts of everyone so that people do not need enforcement from external sources. The first path involves a certain force and the second path is a voluntary promise to follow the process.

In the second path, the teachings of God sanctify a person from within and drives his/her behavior to follow basic principles like non-violence, truth, share, and care for each other. The common ground for everyone here is that each of us is a child of the supreme power, God, and Mother Earth!

Very good initiative , Let us spread love not hate , There is one god , we worship him in many ways , that does not mean we consider others as enemies if they dont worship in our way , Remember Allah and Paravasudeva are one and the same

We Hindus are very innocent or stupid, as far as builing PEACE relationship with Muslims, which not acceptable to educated or uneducated Muslims, since their holy scriptures talk about only Allah rest are Kafirs, so whatever way Hindu Swamiji talk about peace and logic, it will never work, yes it will be a great PR activity. As a Hindus we respect any other religions in the world and their practices, but Muslims in the world look at other religions and their practices as Kafirs and their religious scripture recommend killing of Kafir which is acceptable in their religion.

This is a testimony to show how committed Swamiji is toward respecting other faiths, and sees everyone equally as children of God. If only all religious leaders come together and work toward the betterment of the society, we will have a very peaceful and harmonious society. Jai Jai Srimannarayana!!

We should be reminded of Tulaka Nachiyar, who delicately worshioed Chelvanambi, the utsava murthy of Thirunarayanapuram. She followed Ramanuja back here and remained in service to our Lord.

Swaimji has returned our gratitude for her service.
