Sri Vaishnava Seva Sagham of Hyderabad celebrated Amruthothsavam, honouring of old age couples who crossed 75 years under the aegis of HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji @ JIVA Campus on 12.10.2014. Maha Mahopadhyaya, Kavisabdika kesari Sri U.Ve. Sriman N.Ch. Raghunathacharya Swami came to this function along with his Dharmapathni. Sriman Ramanachary garu, Telangana State Govt. chief adviser also attended and delivered his message. Morethan 50 old couples and their family members attended this function. All the children and grand children of the old couple performed Paada Pooja to them and honoured them with garlands, new clothes and gifts. HH Ahobila Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamiji, HH Devanatha Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamiji and Dr. Rangaramanujacharya Swamiji also blessed the occasion. Ayushya Homam performed by the Agama and Vedic scholars. Mangalasasana Pravachanam of HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji offered Mangalasasanams to the old couple along with their family members and presented citaation to them. Programme concluded with mahakumbha prokshana followed by Maha Prasadam.
By doing like this younger generation will realise their responsibility to take care of their aged parents.
