When can we declare that society is flourishing? Is it when the number of super-specialty hospitals increases or when the number of healthier people increases?

As much as we need doctors to support us during inevitable situations, we also need right knowledge to stay away from health hazards that can be prevented. Health comes from what we eat and how we think. If the food we are consuming is grown using chemicals, we are automatically missing out on gifts of nature. We must reverse the ill-impact of chemicals from the past few decades on our health. How?

I am a commoner, what is my role in strengthening the immunity?

The first step is to use food products that are only naturally grown. Invest any extra time or energy you have towards healing the lost power in our soil by growing plants in your backyard, or home garden using natural methods (avoid using chemicals and pesticides – use natural fertilizers like kitchen waste, cow dung, neem oil etc).

The second step is to consume food that is home-cooked following procedures that are recommended from ages ago by our ancestors. Avoid consuming processed and packaged food.

Vedas say,

Adyathe: atthicha bhu:tha:ni thasma:d annam thaduchyatha ithi

Annam (food) is that which when consumed in the recommended way nourishes our growth, and when consumed in an unregulated way destroys our existence

The third step is to give enough physical work to the body, so the metabolism remains intact. Most diseases can be put away by simply ensuring the consumed food is digested. Physical activity aids digestion.

I am a doctor, what is my role in this?

The first step is to educate the masses and every one of your patients about the importance of a good diet using naturally grown food, and physical exercise.

The second step is to grow all the bioproducts used for preparing Ayurvedic medicines naturally. The efficacy of ayurvedic medicine can only be proved if the bioproducts that are being used for preparing the medicines are in their best natural quality levels.

Invest in nurturing desi cows. A desi cow is a source of healthy ghee that is of use in the preparation of medicines.

I am a private or government distributor, what is my role in this?

The most important step is to decide that you will not encourage, produce, or market anything that is grown using chemicals.

Invest with groups of farmers to give you the desired product that is grown using natural methods.

I am a farmer, what is my role in this?

Understand the impact of chemicals and what it is doing to our health in detail from doctors and other specialists

Do not give up on your commitment to produce only naturally grown products. If the yield is less, let it be. Let your soil take a couple of years to nourish itself with natural organic matter such as the cow dung.

I am a government official, policy maker. What is my role in this?

Encourage all the sections of the society to adapt natural farming practises. Give them financial assistance until the soil rejuvenates back to its original strength.

Layout policies that prohibit the production and usage of chemicals on crops.

Everyone must play their role in making sure what we consume should never be compromised for their natural abilities. Using chemicals and pesticides take away the core natural strength of the plant/crop. Doing your own part is an essential step towards a healthy future.

– From the discourse of Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji – Dhanvanthari Jayanthi, 12 th November 2020 – JIVA Campus

Vishwa Ayurveda Parishad and Arogya Bharathi invited Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji as the Chief Guest.

G. Kishan Reddy Ji, Minister of Home Affairs, and Etela Rajender Ji, Health Minister of Telangana gracefully attended the Dhanvanthari Jayanthi, being celebrated as the Annual Day of Ayurvedam. This is the 5th consecutive year such an event is being celebrated at JIVA Ayurvedalayam, Sri Ram Nagar.

Everyone appreciated the efforts of JIVA Ayurvedalayam for reaching out to lakhs of children giving Swarnamrutha Praasana to build immunity.

Bha:rangi Kalpa, a preventive and immunity booster medicine was distributed to 2 lakh people during the initial corona crisis. Humungous efforts were made to educate masses on using sonti (dry ginger) and other readily available products at home in the right proportions to boost immunity and stay healthier. That is probably why Bharath has not gone too far in terms of deaths as imagined!
