On the auspicious occasion of Sri Rama Navami (06-04-2025), divine celebrations were held at Melbourne Saketha Kshethram, beginning with the Sita Rama Kalyana Mahotsavam in the morning, performed to our beloved Sri Kodanda Rama Swami. On this sacred day, Viswavasu Perumal received the Kalyanotsavam blessings directly from HH Acharya Swamiji, who showered divine grace upon all the devotees.
In the afternoon, the celebrations continued at West Gate Hall, where the Kalyanotsavam was performed by the devotees under the guidance of HH Swamiji. More than 3000 devotees from Melbourne and nearby suburbs came together to celebrate this grand occasion.
Swamiji personally blessed and guided devotees who wished to perform Sita Rama Kalyanam in their homes, explaining the procedures and spiritual significance of the ritual. Local dignitaries also graced the event, expressing their admiration for our rich Indian culture and Vedic traditions, and received the blessings of HH Swamiji.
The event concluded with a sumptuous prasadam dinner lovingly served by JAF members, bringing families and friends together in a joyful spirit of devotion and community.
With Sri Rama Navami falling on a Sunday this year, a large number of devotees were able to attend and experience the divine vibrations. The atmosphere was filled with ecstatic dancing, devotion, and bliss, all under the divine presence and guidance of Acharya Swamiji.
Everyone felt truly blessed to witness and be part of Sita Rama Kalyanam on such a sacred day.
