July 9th marks the day of Guru Purnima this year and we would like to travel back for a minute to bring memories from last year live. It was the day when lakhs of  men and women, children and elderly, learned and illiterate, on-site and at offshore spent time with their beloved Guru – a master of higher knowledge, an embodiment of compassion and countless great virtues – Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji.

A guru teaches us how to see the real essence and true form of everything around us. He eliminates the darkness that prohibits us from reaching the higher states of bliss and peace.

We worship our Acharya on the day of Guru Purnima which ultimately reaches Guru of Gurus, Sri Veda Vyasa. He divided Vedas into 4, composed 18 puranas and wrote 545 Bramha Sutras. His ideology has been glorified in the magnum opus, Sri Bhashyam (the elaborate commentary on Bramha Sutras) by the great Bhagavad Ramanuja Acharya.

Vedic tradition brings into light many exceptional gurus who transcended above everything and have seen only ultimate knowledge as the sole goal.

Last year, starting the day of Guru Purnima for 2 months, Sri Swamiji has blessed many of us last year with the discourses of ‘Sthothra Ratnam’, a jewel among all sthothras.

This year, don’t miss discourses from the very Renowned Speaker, Graceful Acharya, and Exceptionally Knowledgeable Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji on ‘Bhagavad Vishayam’ during Chaturmasyam.

Wishing you all a very Happy Guru Purnima!
Looking forward to share this year’s Guru Purnima updates soon!
