From Baton Rouge, HH and the group travelled to Houston. HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji was grandly received by the members and devotees of JETUSA – Ashtalakshmi Temple with Purnakumbham and Vedic chantings followed by recitation of Sri Vishnusahasranama Sthothram. HH Sri Swamiji blessed the Prajna children, parents and teachers who are trying to learn good things and practice them. HH Sri Swamiji conducted Sri Yagam for the prosperity of the people and the country in general. HH Sri Swamiji taught Ashtakslo:ki in the mornings after Thirtha Goshtti and in the evening HH taught 8th Chapter of Bhagavadgitha with Multimedia presentation. A workshop on I:sa:va:syo:panishath was conducted from 2 to 5 pm for two days in which many devotees took part and cleared their doubts about the Vedic concepts. HH visited Austin and blessed the Prajna Kids over there. The Early cancer detection programmes, Education for the Blind and Tribals, Environment Awareness programmes taken up by VTSEVA were explained by HH Sri Swamiji.
A youth wing of administrators formed as a team in VTseva under the guidance of Smt. Vinata with the Blessings of HH SRi Swamiji. Sriman Hari Eppanapalli is the President who is co-ordinating the vtseva teams at different centres around USA. Sriman Hari, launching the presentation about the VTSEVA explained about the various projects taken up by the organisation to support the underprevileged and the suffering people. He appealed to all the youth who wish to really serve the society to join the vtseva in any form they would like to take part.
HH Sri Swamiji was invited by the BAPs of Swaminarayan where HH gave a discourse in Sweet Hindi on serving Acharyas and their great glory. The audience were awestruck and moved by the wonderful message poured in by HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji.
Ashtalakshmi Temple under JETUSA is doing good progress and a great service to the local community in inspiring them to participate in the service activities and also learn the secrets of Vedic culture and Tradition.
