His Holiness Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji welcomed with flying pigeons and parrots, arrived at Divya Saketham temple at 8:30 A.M giving His Divine Darshanam to thousands of devotees. Theertha goshti at temple was followed by “Jeeyar Award” event. This year Jeeyar Award was given to Sriman. R. Venkat Raman garu and Sandugula Raghavacharyulu garu. Both the scholars spoke about vedam and greatness of our acharya. Sriman R.Venkat Raman himself along with his disciple chanted vedam showing the clarity in pronounciation of “Vishnuhu”. Sri Swamiji addressed the importance of expertise of both the scholars in vedam and indicated that they are educating the next generation to an expertise level to keep up the lineage of our culture .
Sri Swamiji spoke in his pravachanam stating the mission to the public that our scriptures have to be read by devotees to understand and support our culture even when criticized. HH stated that JIVA, Jeeyar Integrated Vedic Academy, provides different kinds of services like releasing books, education of our culture, pravachanam by our acharyas etc… They have to be properly utilized by the devotees in order to have a better understanding about of our culture. Sri Swamiji also expressed to public the importance of being a part of the upcoming Sri Ramanuja Acharya’s “Statue of Equality “ which is under construction currently.
