Housing Board Vikasa Tarangini celebrated Mukkoti as well as Gita Jayanthi grandly. In the morning, VT extended its services in managing the queues, distribution of water and prasadam. In the evening after chanting Sri Vishnu Sahasranama, the program coordinators and the temple priest Sriman Raghavacharyulu explained the significance of Bhagavad Githa followed by the chanting of Bhagavad Githa slokas. About 200 people participated in the program and felt elated knowing the greatness of the scripture. The program was conducted successfully under the leadership of Smt Vijayalakshmiji, Smt Ranganayakamma ji, Smt Janaki garu and other members of VT.
