Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, Sri Shivraj Singh Chouhan visited Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji in the evening hours on the 25th of June. He and his family stayed overnight at the JIVA asram for morning darsan and blessings from Swamiji.

It is a good sign that leaders like Sri Shivraj Singh Chouhan are utilizing opportunities to approach the renowned Sri Swamiji for best wishes in serving the people.

Quick highlights include, but not limited to:

  • Sriman Shivraj Ji and his family arrived at Swamiji’s abode on the 26th, Friday morning. They received blessings of Sri Sitha Rama Chandra Swami worshipped by Swamiji every day

  • Swamiji, the students of Vedic gurukulam at asram, the resident volunteers of the asram, Sriman Shivraj ji and his family, Sri Rameshwar Rao ji and his family, the security guards, media and the visitor devotees all attended the morning prayers at the Divya Saketham temple

  • Swamiji introduced the CM and his purpose of visit with the resident students. Swamiji elaborated that the CM is keen on serving the people of his state with complete dedication and is seeking the blessings of the Lord

  • The Chief Minister and his family offered silk garments to Sri Sitha Rama Chandra Swami of Divya Saketham temple with utmost respects

  • The Chief Minister then presented a set of yellow clothes (their uniform) for the students learning Vedas, and clothes to the priests serving the temple. The CM also congratulated Akanksha Mishra, daughter of Manoj ji (chef at the temple) who secured a 9.8 GPA in her tenth class board examination.

  • They participated in Sudarshana Homam, a prayer that is done every day at Divya Saketham. Sudarshana is the divine energy that supports the seekers by eradicating the hurdles in their way to succeed.

  • Swamiji blessed the Chief Minister for strength and wisdom to take right decisions to serve the people of the state and the nation

Learning from the experienced is a proven way to make good decisions in life. Another powerful means is to approach the scholarly, and saintly people who invested their lifetime in learning from Vedic scriptures, ancient history. We are currently witnessing the ill-effects of badly thought through modernization and scientific evolution. Unless we apply the knowledge learned through science with wisdom learned from scriptures, we will continue to see worse days.

Serve all beings as service to God – When a leader follows this principle, he can benefit from the grace and strength of God to serve his people better…

Jai Srimannarayana
