Reconstruction work of Beersaipet Jeeyar Gurukulam, School for tribal children was completed by 30th June 2017. We thank all the supporters and donors who came forward after the heavy thunderstorm destroyed the school campus. Lack of electricity and unavailability of timely labour has delayed work and therefore has caused some inconvenience during the first two weeks of school. However, it has not stopped us from marching ahead with enhanced agenda, new feel and zeal, and committed attitude.

On the 28th of June, we invited parents of the school children and discussed with them the curriculum, books and uniform, importance of regular attendance etc.

We had couple of volunteer children from Boston, USA – Abhijith and Arjn (grand children of Smt. Sarala and Sri Jayaram garu) on the 27th June. They had spent a good day and half in the village and spent time with the school children. They were happy and expressed gratitude for letting them spend their time in the school.

Sriman Taraka Rama Rao, composer of Ramanuja Keerthanalu came to the school with Manchiryal Vikasa Tarangini members and trained the students on the ways to learn the songs.

The following day, Forest ranger and staff members came to the school and conducted Harithaharam Program and planted trees in school premises. We appreciate their time.

We have so much infrastructure to put in place including labs and classroom furniture. Anyone wishing to contribute will be appreciated and surely remembered everyday as we make use of all the infrastructure!

Looking forward to share more updates!
