School reunions and college reunions are beautiful means to relive the past. Getting in touch with old friends is rejuvenating. Getting in touch with inspiring teachers strengthens one’s purpose in life. Try to recollect your first assignment from the most influential teacher in your student life. Nurture your strength and abilities with the blessing of your teacher(s) that worked their way in shaping you to date.

It was on January 15th, 1975 when HH Chinna Swamiji first stepped onto ‘Rama Dutha’, the name of the vehicle that HH Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji and the team traveled in to serve the nation as service to God. Our nation’s history begins with the history of mankind from its inception, the creation itself. The history that is sculpted in our temples connects our existence to God and brings out the glory of devotees who eulogized God and His qualities.

As part of an activity to renovate these centers of history and inspiration, an Indian Temple Renovation Committee formed in Mumbai. S. K. Somani Ji, T.S. Seshan Ji, Sri Dalmia Ji, and few others lead the activity. They requested HH Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji to advise the areas that need renovation in all the temples. HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji took notes from HH Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji as He examined the temples one after another. This is Swamiji’s first assignment for His acharya!

The tour concluded in Thirumala on February 20th, 1975 after visiting Kanchi, Sri Perembadur, Thirumangai Alwar Divya Desams, Divya Desams in Kerala, Sri Rangam. HH Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji headed to Calcutta from Thirumala. HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji returned to Hyderabad. When HH Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji reached Hyderabad on Feb 26th, 1975, Swamiji underwent the divine thread ceremony (upanayanam).

Inspired by and driven by HH Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji’s mission to serve the nation and all beings as service to God, Swamiji has been on a tireless series of tasks from that first assignment till today. Hundreds of people at each local temple are visiting Swamiji and are getting inspired to protect our divine beautiful history preserved in temples.

A divine dip in the waters of Tamraparni river of Alwar Thirunagari where Nammalwar was born, sparkling sprinkles of the Indian Ocean waters in Thiruppullani where Sri Rama built the Rama Sethu to reach Lanka, Swamiji visited Sri Villiputthur, Nava Thirupathis, and Sri Rangam.
