Lord’s grace is easier to obtain when Mother Maha: Lakshmi recommends us to Lord. Thus, to seek Her compassion towards us and to understand who she is, what she does, how she does it, why she does it, we celebrate the Universal mother Maha: Lakshmi, Sri: De:vi’s glory in different forms.

On the 8th day, we worship Her in the form of all the tools/instruments we use to carry out our daily life. We seek Her grace to fill us with Her power, the Shakthi. Many people worship their vehicles as Shakthi swaru:pini (form of the Universal Mother’s shakthi) considering them as their main tools. Whatever tools are your main source of earning livelihood, you can worship them as the form of the Mother.

Following this, we must know how to put the graced power, Shakthi for right purpose. God’s grace alone can direct it into action for the benefit of everyone.

Therefore, we follow what God as Sri Krushna advised Pa:ndava:s with regards to using the Shakthi. We follow what God as Sri Ramachandra and Venkateswara Swami practised with regards to using the Shakthi in the journey to victory.

How do I begin Vijaya Yatra ?

Let us begin our Vijaya Yatra, journey to victory using the Shakthi given by Universal Mother along with Lord. Let us know what He and His devotees did to begin their Vijaya Yatra.

Lord Sri Ramachandra worshipped Sami: tree before heading to war with Ra:vana.

Sri Krushna advised Pa:ndava:s to protect their tools (weapons) on Sami: tree. The power of all their weapons was diffused. The Universal Mother in the form of Sami: tree re-energised the diffused power back into them to attain victory to dharma, righteousness in the war of Mahabha:ratha.

Lord Venkateswara worshipped Sami: tree before marrying Padmavathi.

Therefore, we all also worship the Sami: tree as worshipped by Him. This specific tree does not yield useful fruits or flowers. Yet, we worship the Sami: tree to help us realise that if God’s grace can make such a plant powerful, His grace can yield us everything from anywhere. The greenness of the Sami: tree itself is the indicator of Universal Mother, Maha: Lakshmi’s presence irrespective of what it yields or not in physical format. It has proven to yield victory to Lord and His devotees, why not us!?

With utmost sincerity in seeking strength to become strong tools spreading His glory for the benefit of the world, let us preserve the leaves of Sami: tree as valuable like gold and silver, the grace of Mother Maha: Lakshmi and begin our Vijaya Yatra with His grace.
