The 23rd Annual Prajna Competitions were celebrated with great vivre and enthusiasm. The little hands got together to embarked in to yet another year of their budding spiritual journey.
Here are the details of the partakers, both teachers and students, who made this event successful,
- Smt Kamala Garu currently taking Prajna in The Madras Sevasadan School, Seetha Kingston School, Ramachandran MHS School, SKPD Boys High School, KTCT Girls High School
- Gajalakshmi Garu associated with The Andhra Mahila Sabha School, Balanandam School, Sri Venkateshwara School.
Prizes All the way
- Number of students registered was 1374. There was a good turnout of 699.
- While the Competition wise registration was 2400, the turnout was 1200.
- A total number of 13 competitions were conducted and No of prizes given away were 324.
- The All Rounder of year 2016 awards was announced and prizes were given away.
- In the Annual Prajna Competitions, Smt. Kamala’s students won 12 prizes, while Smt. Gajalakshmi’s students won 5 prizes.
Milestones
Prajna Chennai has seen the following achievements in their journey
- Nearly 1000 children have joined Prajna ever since it was begun.
- Seetha Kingston School Prayer now includes chanting of One Prajna Sloka every day in their School prayer.
- Also the Seetha Kingston school is encouraging the school kids to observe festivals like Krishna jayanthi and Sri Rama Navami collectively
