raajavidhyaa ra:ja guhyam pavithram idham utthamam

prathyakshaavagamam Dharmyam susukham karthum avyayam

It is easy to do. As easy as walking into your Mother’s fold. It does not perish; It will remain with you eternally; It does not diminish with use.

So what is it?

A pure, loving devotional service to God – “Bhagavad A:ra:dhana”.
In the second chapter He says, Even a little attempt towards it is good. Just a thought, “I should do something for Swamy”:That is also good. If you started and left it midway: Its OK. If you did it wrongly: It does not matter.

There are no negative effects whatsoever.

Swamy says: prathyava:yo na vidyathe

ne:ha:bhikrama-na:so ‘sti

prathyava:yo na vidyathe

svalpamapi asya dharmasya

thra:yathe mahatho bhaya:th

There are no negative results , no extreme results or bad effects from doing anything incorrectly while performing a devotional activity towards GOD.

Many people are charged with common misconceptions that a wrong way of praying could bring upon negative results! And so its argued that it is better to skip a wrong prayer than do it at all ! This is escapism ! Any action done as “Vishnu Sambandham” (related to Swamy), always bears pure and good results.

And there shall not be any negative effects even by doing it incorrectly. prathyava:yo na vidyathe

This is the secret. It is indeed the most confidential knowledge Swamy imparted to Arjuna. All our alwars and acharyas have reiterated the greatness of “Bhagavad A:radhana” in several compositions, works and preaching.

But why is Krushna calling it a secret ?
