What can students learn from Honey Bees? Swamiji addresses at Shantiniketan!
HH Chinnajeeyar Swamiji visited Shantiniketan Vidyalaya on 21st Feb 2019 to give awards to Toppers 2017-18 and bless Class X students for the forthcoming board exams.
He advised students to be like honey bees. They gather nectar, flitting from flower to flower, convert it to honey and share it with us. In return for what they get from the flowers, the bees help them in pollination.
Students too should gather knowledge from all sources, not just from the teachers but also from trees, the moon, the wind, in fact all things in Nature. However, they must show their gratitude by giving back in some form or the other. Knowledge gathered should equip them to respond appropriately to different situations otherwise it will be mere literacy.
Swamiji further motivated students to always remember their duty to their nation. If you live you must live for your country and if you die you must die for your country. He added that in the backdrop of the diabolic terror attack on our jawans, the need of the hour was to stand by our leaders and pray for our armed forces. If possible, we should also donate money to further strengthen them.
