Experience the Divine

Secret of Acharya

Jai Srimannarayana!

Have you experienced an epiphany, an ‘aha’ moment, a sudden and profound revelation? A similar occurrence transpired with Dr. Sreedhar Acharya Nallan, a devoted follower of His Holiness Sri Chinna Jeeyaru Swamiji, residing in Australia.

He attended a discourse by Sri Swamiji, who elucidated how our scriptures have encoded elements, akin to the codes assigned to chemical elements on the periodic table.

The scriptures identify 24 elements in the universe:

  • pancha hbu:thas (5)
  • than ma:thras (5)
  • jnanendriyas (5)
  • karme:ndriyas (5)
  • Total: 20
  • manas 21
  • buddhi 22
  • mu:la prakruthi 23
  • aham thathva 24
  • ji:va (atma or soul) 25
  • Paramatma 26
  • The one who explains all this is Acharya 27

Hence, Acharya is represented by the number 27.

During his meditation on his Acharya, Sreedharacharya garu realized a secret that the number 27 not only symbolizes Acharya, but our Acharya’s na:ma also contains precisely 27 letters.

Om Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Chinna Srimannarayana Ramanuja Jeeyaru Swamine Namaha!

The syllable count in the mantra adds up to the Acharya number 27.
In Telugu and Sanskrit, one can readily count the letters, which total 27.

How amazing, isn’t it?
